Composting Workshop–Rescheduled!

Interested in starting an indoor compost bin or creating rich soil out of yard waste? Learn the basics of urban composting from Lee Dwyer, Groundwork Somerville Gardens Coordinator and Growing Center volunteer, on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Growing Center (22 Vinal Ave). You’ll learn about indoor and outdoor composting, how to start a worm bin, and tips to keep your compost healthy. Contact Lee@groundworksomerville.org for more information; no RSVP needed.

Suggested donation $5; all materials provided. Wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty! Rain or shine.  We’ll also have worms for sale at the workshop.
