Shuck Corn with Elementary Students!

Groundwork Somerville staff and volunteers have collaborated with  Somerville Public Schools Food Service Department, UMass Extension, and community volunteers for the past three years to bring local corn to the cafeteria!  Get involved in this fun annual farm-to-school event and help elementary students shuck local corm at breakfast. The farm-fresh cobs will be served at lunch.  This event is part of Massachusetts Harvest for Students Weeks.  Email Charlotte at cstephenson@k12.somerville.ma.us to sign up!
