Urban Family Outreach Meeting

Urban Family Outreach will be meeting and discussing taking next steps on community improvement projects that we are initiating at the North St. Park: mural painting sessions, dodgeball tournaments, building a toy chest for the park, building a community board, and more!  Our goal is to create positive activities in the park with the community members while talking about the importance of getting involved in the changes and redevelopment that is supposed to happen soon.

We will also talk about strategies to reach other parts of the city with the same goal of getting the community of color involved in these important changes to their community, since we are working with the City of Somerville to implement some of our technique within their practices and policies.

Come help with these cool projects by giving your input at our next meeting.  All races, genders, and ages are welcome!  We will meet at:
