Stop Dirty Diesel Hearing at Boston City Hall

The Green Team will join the Roxbury Environmental Empowerment Project at a hearing today at Boston City Hall to stand up against dirty diesel that is hurting our communities here in Somerville and in Boston.

Did you know? Dirty diesel pollution can cause asthma attacks, bronchitis, respiratory illness, heart disease, high blood pressure, cardiovascular illness, stroke, diabetes and cancer. Unfiltered diesel smoke is concentrated in low-income neighborhoods and communities of color like Roxbury, Dorchester, Chinatown, South End, JP, Mattapan, Southie & East Boston, where we already have the highest rates of illness.
Working together with the City of Boston, we can fight Environmental Racism & Classism, and STOP DIRTY DIESEL!
